Our church had an Easter egg hunt for all of the kids the day before Easter. Alexis and her cousin Gabriella had a blast together. Unfortunately, Natalie had to stay home because she had bronchitis.

Natalie has had a busy couple of months. In January, she stopped using her pacifier. She cried for about two weeks whenever it was time for bed. It was hard but, we are thankful it was only two weeks. In February, she started sleeping in her toddler bed. She LOVES it!! She feels very grown up and knows that this is her special bed. It is so cute! At first, she didn't know whether or not she could get out of her bed. Even now, she stays in bed and sings or talks until she falls asleep.

Our baby girl, Natalie is 2! We can't believe it! She loves to read and play babies with her sister. She is speaking in sentences and keeps us laughing with her fun personality. Sometimes we don't know what she is saying and so we consult with Alexis, who is able to translate for us! It has been a wonderful two years with Natalie and we look forward to all that God has in store for her.

My mom, Katy, the girls and I recently went to Nebraska to visit our aunt, uncle and cousins. We had a great time and the girls were able to be around goats, chickens and horses. It was fun to watch how each of them reacted to the animals. Alexis loved them, until she fed the horses a carrot and her hand was slimy. Natalie wasn't crazy about the horses but warmed up to the "goaks" and liked the chickens.

Natalie is 14 months and has been walking for about two weeks. She walks everywhere she goes now. Plus, she dances to the music whenever she hears a good tune. She is so much fun and is trying out new words. She mimics Alexis in all that she does, which isn't always the best idea! =)

Natalie just turned one, November 30th and I can't believe it! This past year has flown by. Natalie is such a sweet little girl and we love her to pieces! She truly enjoys being around people, especially Alexis. I love the sound of the two of them laughing together. It has been a great year with her and we look forward to what the Lord has in store for both of our daughters.

We had a very blessed Thanksgiving. We hosted this year for the first time, which was very fun. Both sides of the family were over, including Donna, Dave, Cole, Blake and Megan. Second, Alexis had her first friend party; it was a princess theme. The third and final party was her family party with everybody! Six Year Anniversary

It is hard to believe that it has been six years since our wedding day. It has gone so fast! Now we have two beautiful daughters who we adore! 6th Month Checkup

Today we had Alexis' 6th month checkup and she is doing incredible, and is growing like a weed. She is now 16 lbs. 13 ounces (the 55th percentile) and 27 inches tall (incredibly the 90th percentile). She is going to be a tall, skinny girl like her momma.

On Sunday, December 4th we had Alexis dedicated at our church. She was absolutely perfect for the dedication, and she looked beautiful. After the dedication we had an open house for her, which was a great blessing to have family & friends celebrate with us.

Alexis is continuing to grow, and has slept through the night for almost a week now! She is becoming more playful everyday and is really beginning to respond to people around her.

We celebrated our first holiday with Alexis last week. On Thursday we spent the day with the Genz's eating turkey and watching football (and yes the Broncos did beat Dallas!). We then had Thanksgiving part 2 at the Schuur's on Friday night with even more turkey and football (Nebraska soundly beat Colorado).

We are especially thankful this year for everything the Lord has blessed us with, a wonderful family, great friends and our new, beautiful baby girl Alexis.

Alexis is continuing to do amazing. She is now 5 weeks old and is beginning to "discover" things to look at, and she is becoming more playful everyday. Here is a picture that I took at 6:45 this morning.

This past Sunday Alexis & I watched the Broncos beat the Eagles 49-21. She is becoming a huge Broncos fan like her dad!
